About Me info
- Who am I?
My full name is Jonathan Matthew Gibson and I am a high school teacher in Santa Ana, CA. I love to hang out with my wife Marcella, walk my dog Jack, play guitar, do crossword puzzles, cook, and watch most all sports. I spend a lot (too much) time on the computer learning different software.
Sports I love watching are football, baseball, UFC, and women's tennis. Television shows I love to watch are the Office, Lost, the Wire, the Shield, South Park, Family Guy, and any cooking show (Bobby Flay, Top Chef, Hell's Kitchen, etc).
Oh yeah, the picture at the left is of the time I escorted Ms. Hayek to the Oscars. She won a date with me after seeing me on Top Chef . . . wasn't she lucky, lol:). We ate at Spago's and were treated to a hoard of paparazzi on our way out. As you can tell by my expression, life as a celebrity [would] suck.
- Who is my wife?
My wife's name is Marcella Briceno and she is an awesome Marriage and Family Therapist (her record and employers say so!).
She is a great cook, good listener and is the best Trivial Pursuit teammate in the world. The first time I met my wife was when I picked her up and we carpooled to a wedding rehearsal. We had never met before, but I offered to drive her because the meeting was so far away from our homes and we lived close to each other. We hit it off right away and I just remember thinking how beautiful she was . . .
I thought the same thing on our first trip together, as our camp was attacked by a bear and we were stuck inside the tent while everyone else was in a car. I was scared:)
- Jack Who?
Jack . . . my soft-coated wheaten terrier is probably the greatest thing on this Earth (aside from my wife).
We go on long walks together, we play catch, and he leaves me alone when I am busy. He doesn't fetch the paper for me (yet), but he does go to the bathroom when I tell him to.
He is very excitable and trainers tell us that wheatens never 'mellow'. Which is fine by me as he keeps me active and gets me away from the computer when I need to most!

If you are using IE 6, the effect won't work. I recommend getting ride of all Microsoft browsers and use either Apple's Safari (yes there is a version for PCs) or Mozilla FireFox. Stop ruining your browsing experience; make the switch:).
